Yin Yoga
A slow-paced style of yoga where practitioners hold poses for 3 to 5 minutes. These long holds help to tap into fascia and connective tissue and invite an opening and healing of the body through relaxation and surrender. Yin is typically practiced in a cooler environment: 70 - 80 degrees to allow safe and deep release. All levels.

Vinyasa Flow
The word "vinyasa" in sanskrit means: "to place in a special way." Vinyasa yoga focuses on sequencing fluid movement together with breath to bring a deeper self awareness and understanding to the practitioner. There are many styles of vinyasa: Ashtanga, Baptiste, and Jivamukti, to name a few. Colleen teaches a vinyasa flow rooted in the principals of Ashtanga. The continuous movement of vinyasa reflects the impermanence of all forms and the necessity of accepting change to achieve balance and completeness. All levels.

JM Vinyasa
Jared McCann Yoga classes are a blend of classical and modern yoga philosophies. With inspiration drawn from Ashtanga, Iyengar, Bikram, Dharma, and Forrest Yoga, elements of these five styles are uniquely fused together to create a new and transformative style of Yoga that is challenging, healing, and fun. The classes use classical hatha yoga postures, pranayama, and meditation to create balance, strength, and flexibility in the body/mind. The breath becomes a meditation and is used to create space in the body from the inside, out. The specific sequence of postures maximizes consciousness along the spinal column to enhance awareness of the nervous system. All levels welcome.
